Rules in Marriage + IPAD Mini Give-away

Hi Everyone,
I am sorry If I haven't posted here for a couple of days. If you can't find me here, I am just at my other blog - Pursuit of Functional Home. Today, I will not share any recipes with you. I am going to share about our rules in marriage.
Yes I do Rules in Marriage
What? rules?
I wouldn't say that we are a perfect couple co'z we are not. We have our own shortcomings. We have our own complaints from each other. But still accepts each other's faults. We have been married for almost 7 years now. Oh boy! how time flies. It feels like it was just 2 years ago. Lol. We have been in the plateau stage too. I think marriage is about holding on together and falling in love all over again and again and again. We argue but never fight. How is that possible in this new era?
These are our marriage rules. It is actually not rules but something we strictly observed and followed.
  • Before we got married, we have agreed that if one of us asks for a complete silence. We must respect it. I am proud to say that since the beginning until now, we both do this. Even if there are times I wanted to burst. Don't fight the fire with fire.
  • Respect each other.
  • Support each other.
  • Honesty is the best policy.
  • We do not to talk about things that will make us both feel angry or frustrated. We always try our best not to dwell on depressing matters.
  • Don't shout at each other.
  • Don't throw abusive words towards each other.
    • If I am angry or mad or frustrated, I keep quite. Like I don't talk to him for a while. I think it is an effective way to convey that I am mad because he immediately noticed it.LOL
  • We talk about our past relationships. Not often though. (I'll talk about this in the succeeding post)
  • Be open. We talk about everything from fantasies, admiration and anything that comes to our mind.
  • Remind how much you care and love each other.
    • I sometimes demand. LOL. Because he is not a romantic type of guy.
Okay, some of you might think this is no way possible. Some of you might think how boring our marriage is.

We are enjoying our lives being together. Having a harmonious marriage is a blessing and it involves a WHOLE LOTTA work.

Anything you want to say about this post? please feel free to comment below.

Cheers to a happy marriage!
